The history behind the Art: ​

This is just me and what I do. Painting is more than happiness to me. It is an extremely exhilarating joy… It is freedom and the wings that allow me to fly….

Within my canvas, I embody all my passions. I place myself on a palette kneeling down as a commitment and devotion to my work. Totally naked, straightforward, truthful, and has nothing to hide. With brushes held closely to the chest like dearly holding onto my dreams, beliefs, and desires. Caused by a rhapsodic movement of the head paint has been lifted with the hair from the palette exuding colors all across the dark canvas. Some dripping has formed a few elements like a blue poppy flower showing the attachment to imagination and creativity. A red poppy for love, beauty, and success, and the Cuban Tocororo bird that is in front of her indicates her Origin and symbolizes

freedom. Like the bird, she needs to be free or she will die trying.
